Rulers Offer CondolencesPublish Date: 2010-02-26 14:00:07 Story Code: 25660 ABU DHABI — Their Highnesses the Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates, as well as the crown princes and deputy rulers on Thursday offered condolences to Shaikh Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan at Al Mushrif Palace on the death of Shaikh Mubarak bin Mohammed Al Nahyan.
Present were General Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and Shaikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Ruler’s representative in the Western Region. The condolences were offered by Supreme Council Members and Rulers His Highness Dr Shaikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi of Sharjah, His Highness Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi of Fujairah, His Highness Shaikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla of Umm Al Quwain and His Highness Shaikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi of Ajman. Condolences were also offered by Shaikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Minister of Finance, Shaikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, Shaikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, and Shaikh Marwan Al Mualla. Condolences were also accepted by Shaikh Saif bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Shaikh Suroor bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Lt-General Shaikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Shaikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, chief of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s Court, Shaikh Omer bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President’s aid-de-campe, Shaikh Khalifa bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Shaikh Mohammed bin Butti Al Hamed, Shaikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Shaikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Public Works. Those who offered condolences also included Abdul Aziz Abdullah Al Ghurair, Speaker of the FNC, Shaikh Ahmed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Zayed Foundation for Charitable and Humanitarian Works, Shaikh Khalid bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of Etihad Airways, Shaikh Ahmed bin Hamed, the President’s special advisor, Shaikh Sultan bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority and Shaikh Ahmed bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan. Prince Sultan bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince of Bahrain, also offered condolences. Shaikh Hamad bin Jassem bin Jabr Al Thani, Prime Minister of Qatar, offered condolences on behalf of the Emir of Qatar. Condolences were also offered by Samir Al Rufaie, Jordan’s Prime Minister.
